Would you like some?
I don’t like shrimp.
Shrimp have a texture that bother my mouth. I have been trying shrimp in different recipes for 40 years…and I just never really like it.
So when I’m offered shrimp, it’s easy for me to pass.
No thanks.
I don’t even think about it again. I just move on and eat the things I want to eat.
No big deal.
Most of us are like this with food. You don’t like tomatoes? No worries—don’t take any. You hate eggs? You simply don’t grab the eggs when they are offered to you.
No thanks.
We live in a time where everyone has an opinion about EVERYTHING. Just like the shrimp on a platter, you can take on their opinion…or not. The choice is always your own. We do NOT have to believe everything we hear.
No thanks.
The same goes for your own thoughts. Picture a buffet. As you walk along, you choose what you want. Our brain thinks a lot of thoughts during the day. Pick the ones that are useful, and leave the ones that are demeaning and nasty.
Try this out.
It’s a game changer.
